The Wrecklunds are a Colorado-based band forging a sound where outlaw country meets psychedelic rock. Rooted in the mountain town of Evergreen, their music blends raw storytelling and powerful harmonies with a sound that spans a mountain range of genres, dripping with vintage soul, and creating live shows that feel as much like a journey as they do a concert.

Originally formed by lifelong friends Bryan Eklund and Eric Drobny as an acoustic string band, The Wrecklunds quickly gained recognition as RockyGrass Band Competition finalists and recorded their debut album Moon Over Broadway with Vince Herman. What began with upright bass and front porch instrumentation has since evolved into a full electric band steeped in the spirit of a golden era where groove, harmony, and freedom meet.

Drawing inspiration from the late ’60s and early ’70s, The Wrecklunds have expanded their sonic palette, bringing new depth and energy to their original music. After months in the studio, the band is set to release the first single from their upcoming EP Mountain Legend in May 2026.

At the heart of the band is a commitment to connection. A musical conversation between brothers, illuminated by a wide and colorful sonic palette. Four-part harmonies, fearless musicianship, and songs that explore love, loss, growth, and the road in between. Each performance is alive, unfolding in real time, balancing tight arrangements with moments of lift-off.

The Wrecklunds have become a staple across Colorado’s Front Range, appearing at festivals and venues including Hops Drops Festival, Rapidgrass Festival, Parker Days, FocoMX, Evergreen Lakehouse Concert Series, Ullrgrass, Granby Ranch Summerfest, The Big Wonderful, Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom, Buffalo Rose, The Little Bear, and more, with an upcoming appearance at Oyster Ridge Music Festival and a full summer of shows across the region.

With a renewed sound and a clear vision, The Wrecklunds are stepping into their next chapter, writing, recording, touring, and connecting with dance floors and festival crowds across the country.
